Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was previously a supermodel, is a film director. In addition to her graceful elegance, her continued successes in the competitive film industry can be attributed to her talents as an actor. She began modeling during the 1970s. Soon, she became one the top models. In the early 1980s, she began taking classes in acting and theater before performing on the theater stage of Los Angeles. Russo first appeared on television in ABCs Sable in the role of Eden Kendell, in 1987. In her debut film Major League two years after she portrayed Tom Berengers romantic interest. Her initial doubts were about her acting abilities but the critics became convinced by her consistent performances. Rose Namajunas was one of the top female athletes in the UFC. And later she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. When she joined in the UFC in 2011 she was a household-name because of the fame she enjoyed both inside and outside of an octagon. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose played basketball and kickboxing as she grew to maturity. Her first appearance as a professional aged 18 in the Invicta Fighting Championships in which she was able to win two bouts by submission. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, aged 22, she signed her up to compete as a strawweight with UFC. Rose has experienced highs and lows during her career however, she has always come out triumphant. Rose defeated Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout that lasted under three minutes Round One. Rose was also awarded Fighter Of The Night and made history as it marked the first time that a woman had ever competed on a level of championships in a major promotional organization worldwide. Namajunas was able to win several fights following her win including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. It brought Namajunas Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
