Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is an actor from Canada, British. best known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for which she was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Samantha Jones reprised her role in the films Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010). In the 80s, she played leading roles on the television show Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin in addition to Porky's. Kim Cattrall will be remembered for her performance as Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. The well-known actress' portrayal as Samantha Jones has been a defining moment in her professional career. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. She is most well-known for her performance in the drama comedy film La Dolce Vita. The film received an Oscar, and received the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival in 1960. The film was also both critically and commercially highly acclaimed. The beginning of her acting career came when she became a fashion designer at Skane. She ultimately won an award at the Miss Sweden Contest. Then she moved to the US in the early 1990s, where she began to appear in multiple movies as minor characters. She was in the film Venusian Guard in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars which was her debut part in a credit role. The following year following her appearance as an unknown for the film Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most promising category.
